Developed customer analytics strategy to help major retailer identify $50M private label opportunity. Working in collaboration with data scientists and engineers, we helped a major retailed tap into its POS data to identify key trends in customer purchase behavior, validating a core hypothesis supporting a potential $50M private label opportunity.

Updated strategic positioning to unlock new pricing strategy for major US retailer. Designed and implemented a Known Value Item (KVI) pricing strategy, resulting in $14M margin improvement. Using the clients' POS data and competitive pricing benchmarks, we were able to identify the ~10% of SKUs that needed to be competitively priced (price not to exceed 10% increase over nearest competitor) while recommending price increases for long-tail of SKUs with lower price sensitivity.

Introduced value selling program to enable home services company to move upmarket and increase gross margin. Implemented strategic pricing plan for residential home services company resulting in 30% increase to gross margins. Strategy focused on marketing collateral, sales execution, and productization (ie, leveraging new financing options to reduce monthly payment factor for customers), which increased close rates from 50% --> 70% while increasing profitability of each sale.
